Money won't be a problem if people are conservative about marriage. Why get married at 22 when you could get married at 28 with more money saved up. Because what happens is the couple that gets married at 22 (right out of college, haven't worked much) is going to want a house because they think everyone deserves a house these days. And thus they will be more in debt and working to get out of it their first 5 years of marriage. Then having children on top of that makes more debt.

Number 6 is laughable because in many cases one parent is the good parent and one is the bad parent. The more important issue is for parents to be honest to their children.
