"Eden Prairie Today" Friday, Feb. 27 webcast -- First Annual in Battle of the Bands
First Annual, an Eden Prairie High School Rock band, is going to be in the Battle of the Bands tonight at Hopkins West Junior High in Minnetonka. The battle begins at 6:45 and ends around 9:30. Tickets are $5 bucks.The Battle of the Bands is sponsored by the Teens Alone Youth Advisory Board, which offers counseling to area teens.Emily Merhar, a 2005 Eden Prairie High School graduate, will have her artwork on display tonight at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. The show starts tonight at 5:30 in the Christensen Center student gallery on the Augsburg campus.The film "Abanunule (The Redeemed)" won first prize at the Beloit International Film Festival in Beloit, Wisconsin last weekend. The film, by director Alex Fournier, is about Ugandan orphans.
