Shelterwood works with troubled adolescents showing signs of rebellion, lying, anger, manipulation and entitlement, academic failure,negative peer relationships, family conflict, substance use/abuse, depression/anxiety, lack of motivation, etc... Through Shelterwood's residential setting, teens are given help to work through family conflict and tools to address their specific issues to find success. Here, a graduate of Shelterwood speaks about facing depression and a deteriorating relationship with her parents while in High School. After her life changing experience at Shelterwood she is finding success in college, is a Resident Assistant in her dorm and she and her parents have regained their relationship.
