Thank you for your opinion. I'm sure Live Now would be quite controversial in counseling circles if it ever reaches them. If you are interested I would be happy to discuss the merits of Live Now over conventional counseling with you. Like meditation, Live Now is a nonthinking method of completely freeing oneself from destructive thought patterns. It is not a method to simply think better thoughts. The patient is guided to the daily experience of their inner spiritual nature.

First of all, I didn't mean to sound so rude, I apologize. With that said, you claim this technique has little to do with conventional counseling, so measuring what I see in this video by that metric may be unfair. Yet this is counseling, and seems to violate some very basic rules, as I was taught, so Live Now is not a technique that I would be comfortable with. Just my opinion, thanks for the response.

No, no joke. This is a unique form of talk therapy that guides a patient to let go of thought patterns that underlie alcohol and other addictions. Live Now Life Counseling has little to do with conventional counseling so it may seem unusual to the casual observer.

Is this a joke? The "counselor" is interpreting everything the client says, interjecting his own opinions. This is not a good video.

As Helen said under Alcoholism Recovery, she felt it was a great benefit for her to be recorded. It was something she wanted to do. She shared what she was comfortable sharing. If you would like to ask her any questions you can.Live Now is an alternative therapy that must be experienced to be understood. These videos are a tool to experience and move forward in the process. |
