The reason why birth control isn't just somewhere to pick up like condoms is because women need different types of birth controls. There is a crazy amount of different types of pills. Some are for certain reasons. After I had my two older kids I was breastfeeding so I had to get on a birth control that was safer for breastfeeding. After I had my youngest I had to get on one that isn't risky for high blood pressure because I had problems with that. And the shot and patch MESSED me up bad !

I live in Holland and right here you just need to go to your doctor and tell him why you want to go on birthcontrol and he'll give it to you for free.

When I hit puberty, my grandmother (who was caring for me at the time cause my mom was a young mom..smh) toke my hand and walked me over to the front door. She opened it and said " Do you see the street? If you get pregnant you will not be living in this house. It's either live with the one who helped you do it or the street, but you wont be here. I am done raise babies. So, I hope the guy you screw with is worth it." I am 28 and I have zero kids. Thank you Grandma.

Not that I don't agree that it's an issue because it is and yes they should hand out Birth Control. It makes sense as a preventative measure. But Planned Parenthood gives it out to under priveliged households.

Most teenagers are on Medicaid if they are low-income, they pay for birth control.
