A Patient's Perspective: Brent Peterson


Former NHL Hockey coach of the Nashville Predators, Brent Peterson, discusses the challenges with his Parkinson's diagnosis and how he best told his family. He is now retired from coaching and has become an advisor to the team. With the support of his family and team, he has learned that a good attitude and working through adversity is what has helped him most with his Parkinson's disease.

He's still alive and somewhat better; he was profiled in The Hockey News in April 2012. He's now scouting for the Predators as he can no longer coach.
