Diana Ross calls Covenant House a builder of bridges

Tony-Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Diana Ross joined Covenant House President Kevin Ryan on stage in New York City on June 2 offering her support after homeless youth being helped by Covenant House performed the show-stopping song "One Day at a Time." The benefit raised funds to provide food, shelter, clothing, educational opportunities, job training and counseling for homeless teens. Ms. Ross called Covenant House a builder of bridges and a place of shelter and hope for children in need.Watch the teens' performance at this event: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

@tyavion I don't know what he gave , but I've given lots of money and my time to the Convenant House over the last 12 years. I never heard anyone mention Diane until now.

@lumi015 - I agree...Some idiot below mentioned something about she could've given more...well when one adds up the other charities outside of the covenant house that she gives too, she is giving more. Miss Ross has always been generous to charities that she believes in and she's always looked out for the children...

@mnmcv1 - I agree, Entertainment tonight, Extra and all those media outlets only report gossip and negativity, that's why I don't watch it. They spend most of their time on Tiger Woods and his affairs, Sandra Bullock and her husbans extramarital affairs and Jennifer Aniston...and they will drag a story about them on for several days. Diana has always looked out for the children - Big-Ups to her.
