Amen.The hardest part about having a loved one with BPD is the want to help them, but yet acting on that want actually enables their negative BPD'd behavior...At the same time, letting go is painful, but in the end, it's not as much. Like Dr. Phil likes to say "Are you doing this for them, or are you doing this for you?"
