Teen Dating Violence

What comes to mind when you picture a domestic violence victim? A middle-aged woman with children? Research shows that teenagers are actually at higher risk for domestic violence than adults. In fact, females between 16 and 24 experience intimate partner violence at nearly three times the national average. On Monday, we'll learn more about dating violence among teens and what to do if you suspect a young person in your life is experiencing or perpetrating partner abuse. Listen to Dr. Eli and Becky Antle on this edition of State of Affairs from 4-18-10.

Hey, I understand where you're coming from, but stuff like that does happen. What if that girl doesn't have a father? What if he doesn't care enough about her to do anything, and that's the reason she's IN an abusive relationship? It's all about the variables. Not everyone has a way to escape or be avenged.

That is just fucking stupid. I can see it starting in your 20's but teens? Go fuck yourself, this is some made up bullshit. Yeah like some 16 year old is going to beat his girlfriend without her dad killing the little shit.
