This is insulting to men! They are better father's being divorced and seperated from their family??? I am seperated from my son, used to see him every day and spend time with him. I now get him once or twice a month? How is that better?

Is she trying to be insulting? Fathers may ACTUALLY (I love the emphasis) be getting better at parenting. How about this cupcake? I was already an amazing parent. Captain crazy pants kept life in crisis mode constantly and made life unbearable. Now, I can think and give my son and daughter the attention they deserve. Now that she's gone, there's money in the bank, bills are paid, I have time to spend with my kids because I am not working all the time to pay for her shit.

Any empowered parent will be a better parent. The fact that dads improve as parents when able to do so under their own steam, is just a testimony that dads are great parents, and should be free to parent their own kids after separation or divorce.Not into promoting the electronic comms as a replacement for real parenting though. Give the courts the easy option of indirect contact, and they will use and abuse it. This will dilute parenting to IM, emails and video chats. You can't beat in person

I'm a divorced dad dealing with a satanic ex-wife who can't stand that i'm the better parent, before and after the seperation then she is. and after 3 years of fighting in court the judge ruled in my favor and gave me custody. We as people need to look at these situations on a case by case basis, the mother is not always the better parent. Nor should she be automaticaly given custody and paid ungodly amounts of money just to take care of her own child/children. We live in a new time.

We've always lived in a divorce culture. It's just that 50 years ago and for the longest time it was taboo to do so. But if people could have done it back then, they probably would have.
